This is the 3rd year that Empower Soccer has taken a team of high school boys from North County to play in the SLYSA spring select league. We have two teams, with the majority of the boys coming from Hazelwood East, Central, West and McCluer high schools, and this year we've added two boys from U City.

The basic cost for the TWO teams includes $4900 for league registration fees and $800 for uniforms (the league requires us to have home and away versions). We require the boys to pay a fee and also be involved in some fundraising activities to contribute, but we need your help to raise a portion of the costs.

 

We (Kyle, Andrew and Fernando) coach for free and we try to access practice facilities for free too. The season offers the boys, who would otherwise not be able to afford it, to play at a higher level during the high school offseason and also learn discipline and teamwork with other high school players from their community.
